FLIGHT SCHOLARSHIPS 2025

APPLICATION DEADLINE DECEMBER 15, 2024

$3,000 The ENE 99s Ann Bridge Baddour Honorary Scholarship
Honors a long-time member of the ENE Chapter and is open to a woman who has at least soloed.

$2,000 The Jeanne Ohnemus/ Cynthia Hurvitz Scholarship
Open to a woman who is pursuing an advanced rating.

$2,000 The ENE 99s Advanced Training Scholarship
Funded by an anonymous donation to the chapter. This scholarship is open to a woman or man with at least a private pilot certificate who is pursuing an advanced rating.

$2,000 The ENE 99s Takeoff Scholarship
An anonymous ENE member generously donated $1,000. That amount was matched by ENE Chapter members.
This scholarship is open to a woman who holds a student pilot certificate and a minimum of 4 hours of
flight training in the 6 months prior to application submission. This is the minimum qualification for the application. The best qualified candidate will communicate a clear path towards their next aviation goal.

The Connecticut Chapter $2,000 Scholarship Opportunity

NEW FOR 2025:  The CT Chapter will be awarding TWO $1,000 scholarships in 2025!

$1,000 in memory of EVELYN KROPP and $1,000 in memory of MARYELLYN PAGE.

Apply for one or apply for both –

Criteria: Female who has been a member of the New England Section 99s for at least six months.

Requirements:  Application form, Personal Statement, Letters of recommendation.

Deadline: March 1st

THE INTERNATIONAL 99s HAS SCHOLARSHIPS AVAILABLE

AMELIA EARHART MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP

– Amelia Earhart Memorial Scholarships for licensed pilot members to advance in training and education in aviation and aerospace, including scholarships to complete additional pilot certificates and ratings, jet type ratings, college degrees, technical training and an Emergency Maneuver Training Scholarship established in memory of 99 member Vicki Cruse.

– Research Scholar Grants to add to the world’s knowledge of women in aviation and aerospace.
